Roof: The first step in this transformation was to address the roof. The team started by carefully removing a layer of old shingles and underlayment, down to the sheathing . To ensure optimal protection against water infiltration, all-new Ice & Water was installed over the eaves and up the valleys. The rest of the roof was covered with Tiger Paw synthetic underlayment, providing an additional layer of defense.

For a sleek and modern look, the team installed new GAF Timberline HDZ Shingles in the elegant charcoal color. Matching painted all-metal roof vents, frost-free soil stacks, and valley tins were meticulously placed to complement the shingles. The project also included the installation of ebony-painted aluminum drip edge, which not only added visual appeal but also enhanced the roof’s performance. The finishing touch and a testament to our commitment to quality, the project was backed by the GAF System Plus extended warranty and Lutgen Companies’ 10-year Workmanship Warranty.

Siding: To revitalize the exterior, the existing siding was removed. Thorough preparations were made to ensure a flawless installation of the new vinyl siding. The walls were meticulously inspected, and 3/8″ fan-fold insulation was added, meeting all current building codes. Seam taping was carefully applied to create a secure and energy-efficient barrier. Attention to detail was evident in the installation of proper flashings around all openings, including windows, doors, and roof lines. Siding accessories such as light blocks, outlet blocks, and vent covers were also added where needed.

To add a touch of elegance, custom-bent aluminum trim was installed on the front two garage doors and the garage service door on the right elevation, boasting a pristine white color. For the garage’s front gable end, 300 square feet of Shake Siding in Mountain Ash – Single 7 inch Cedar were carefully placed. Additionally, 43 feet of 6″ aluminum ribbon board in ebony added a refined finishing touch. The chosen siding from Exterior Portfolio, in the “Stone Harbor” color and double four-inch lap (D4) style, perfectly complemented the overall look of the house.

Soffit and Fascia: To complete the exterior makeover, the team prepared the home for the installation of new maintenance-free soffit and fascia. This involved removing existing soffit coverings to allow for proper attic ventilation. Vented aluminum soffit and fascia in ebony were then installed on both the house and the garage, offering durability, low maintenance, and a cohesive appearance.

Versetta Stone: Adding a touch of natural elegance, the team incorporated Versetta Stone to accentuate the front bump-out where the kitchen is located, as well as three feet up on the front side of the garage door. They also creatively incorporated a stone house number, “332,” on the front left side of the garage. The chosen color, “Mission Point – Tight Cut,” added depth and character to the property.

Gutters: To ensure efficient water drainage, the home was prepared for the installation of a new gutter system. The team installed 85 feet of 5″ K-Style Seamless aluminum gutters, providing a streamlined and effective solution. The gutters were outfitted with a clog-free cover to be completely maintenance-free. Additionally, 44 feet of 3″x3″ Aluminum Downspouts with kick-out extensions were strategically placed, effectively directing water away from the house’s foundation. This gutter system is warrantied for life against clogs.
